About motorised blinds
Motorised blinds make sense for tall windows, skylights, rooms with several blinds and anyone who finds a chain awkward. There are no cords at all, and a timer can close the blinds at dusk whether you are home or not.

How motorised blinds are fitted
The same three stages for every window, with one fitter from the measure to the last check.
1. Plan the control
We talk through remotes, wall switches and timers, and where any power will come from.
2. Made and paired
Blinds are made to measure and the motors set up before the fitting day.
3. Fitted and shown
We fit, set the limits and show you how to use the remote or app.
Motorised blinds: your questions
Do motorised blinds need wiring?
Not always. Battery motors charge from a small lead and run for months between charges. Wired motors suit new builds and rewires.
Can they open and close on a timer?
Yes. Most motors can be set to open and close at set times from the remote or an app.
Can you motorise a blind I already have?
Sometimes, if the headrail takes a motor. We check at the visit and say plainly if a new blind would be better.
