About venetian blinds

Venetian blinds give the finest control of light of any blind: tilt the slats and you choose how much comes in and from where. We fit them in real wood, faux wood and aluminium, with tapes or plain cords, and a wand to tilt them.

How venetian blinds are fitted

The same three stages for every window, with one fitter from the measure to the last check.

  1. 1. See the slats

We bring wood and aluminium samples so you can match floors, frames and paint.

  2. 2. Made to measure

Width and drop are made to the millimetre, with the headrail sized to your recess.

Venetian blinds: your questions

Wood or faux wood?

Real wood is lighter and warmer to the eye. Faux wood looks much the same and copes far better with steam, so we suggest it for kitchens and bathrooms.

Are Venetian blinds easy to clean?

Close the slats and wipe them with a dry cloth or a duster. Wood should never be soaked.

Will a wide wooden blind be heavy to lift?

Very wide wooden blinds are heavy, so we may suggest two blinds side by side, or a lighter faux wood.

A preference, not a booking. We call to agree a time.

Where should we reply?

Just a name and one way to reach you.
