About vertical blinds

Vertical blinds suit the windows other blinds struggle with: very wide panes and doors that need to open fully. Today’s linen-look fabrics are softer than the office blinds most people picture, and a wand turns and draws them with no loose cords.

From £95

per window, measured and fitted, for a typical window about 120cm by 150cm. Your written quote after the free measure is the price you pay.

How vertical blinds are fitted

The same three stages for every window, with one fitter from the measure to the last check.

  1. 1. Choose the fabric

We bring fabrics to the door or window and check how far the louvres need to stack back.

  2. 2. Made to the opening

The headrail and louvres are cut to your measurements.

  3. 3. Fitted and tested

We fit, set the stack and check the door opens fully past the blind.

Vertical blinds: your questions

Are vertical blinds only for offices?

Not any more. Soft linen-look fabrics suit living rooms and wide patio doors, and the louvres stack neatly to one side.

Can one louvre be replaced?

Yes. If a louvre is damaged we replace it on its own, so the blind does not need to be remade.

Will a vertical blind get in the way of my patio door?

We measure the stack so it clears the opening, and can split the blind in the middle if the door sits in the centre.

When suits a visit?

A preference, not a booking. We call to agree a time.

Where should we reply?

Just a name and one way to reach you.

We use it only to arrange your visit.
