Shutters change a room more than any blind. Each set is made to your measurements, fitted on a frame that follows the window, and lasts for years. We measure every angle of a bay and every quirk of an old sash, so the panels line up and the louvres close flush.

Looking after them
Dust the louvres with a soft cloth or a duster. Painted finishes can be wiped with a damp cloth.

How plantation shutters are fitted
The same three stages for every window, with one fitter from the measure to the last check.
1. Measure every angle
Bays and sashes are measured twice, with the depth of the reveal and anything in the way.
2. Made for your window
Shutters are made to order and usually take about eight weeks.
3. Fitted and aligned
We fit the frame, hang the panels and adjust until every louvre lines up.

How long do shutters take?
Usually about eight weeks from the measure to fitting, because each set is made to order for your window.
Do shutters work in a bay window?
Yes. Bays are one of the most common places for shutters. We measure each angle and fit a frame that follows the bay, so the panels line up.
Full height, café style or tier on tier?
Full height covers the whole window. Café style covers the lower part for privacy. Tier on tier splits the panels so you can open the top and keep the bottom closed.
