About roman blinds
A Roman blind brings the softness of a curtain without the bulk. We make ours in our Broadheath workroom, so we can space the folds to suit your window, match a pattern across a pair, or use a fabric you already have.

Looking after them
Vacuum gently on low with a brush head. Most fabrics can be spot cleaned; ask which at the visit.

per window, measured and fitted, for a typical window about 120cm by 150cm. Your written quote after the free measure is the price you pay.
How roman blinds are fitted
The same three stages for every window, with one fitter from the measure to the last check.
1. Pick the fabric and lining
We bring linens and weaves to the window and talk through how dark you want the room.
2. Sewn to your drop
We space the folds about 20 to 25cm apart and show you where they will sit.
3. Fitted and dressed
We fit, set the folds and leave the blind looking as it should from day one.

How many folds will my blind have?
It depends on the drop. We space the folds evenly, about 20 to 25cm apart, and show you where they will sit before we make it.
Can you use my own fabric?
Often, yes. Have it ready at the visit and we will check the weight, the pattern repeat and whether there is enough.
Is a Roman blind warm?
With a thermal lining it helps keep heat in on cold nights, and a blackout lining does a similar job while darkening the room.
